For Sunday dinner, I tried the Cream Sauce.
We used it to make Broccoli Fettuccine Alfredo... boy was it good!!
First I started my pot of water with a sprinkle of salt, you'll need a rapid boil, then I washed and chopped up the Broccoli so I had mostly tops and cut the tops in half for bite size pieces. When my water is at a boil I added my noodles, they take about 12 minutes. In the last 5 minutes you'll add your broccoli to the water for a quick blanch.
For the Sauce, it was as easy as measuring the cream sauce powder, adding water, some Parmesan cheese, and boiling it on the stove!! I did tweak it from their recipe a bit... I added a dash of pepper, and a dash of garlic powder; plus I turned around for too long, and let it boil too much and it became very thick, so I added some cream I had left in my fridge to thin it out. I LOVED it even better :D
When your noodles are done boiling drain and toss in some Olive Oil to prevent stickiness, add your sauce and {in the words of Emerell Lagasse} BAM! you're done!
I had dinner on the table start to finish in 20 minutes! AND the kids Loved the Broccoli with the cream sauce... they ate it all!
